The Origin of Love (Mika nails no.2)

Long time no see.. Anyway, since the last post, I've been to two Mika gigs, and I made these nails for one of them, in Vigevano, Italy :)

Polish polish

Witam :) Otóż dzisiaj postanowiłam otworzyć się bardziej na internautki z mojego kraju i pisać również po polsku. Przy okazji:
Mam na imię Zuza, mam 18 lat i mieszkam w Łodzi. Kompletnie nie znam się na prowadzeniu blogów i niewiele wiem o manicurze. Po prostu maluję paznokcie ;)

Donald & Daisy !

I have no idea, why I thought about Donald Duck when I was about to do my nails, but yeah, they've been catching a lot of attention and nice words from random people, so I guess it wasn't such a bad idea ;)

This is not my design, I found it somewhere online and tried to make it myself. I really like the colours tho.

Finally, THE Mika nails!

If you don't know Mika yet, check him out, because he's an amazing vocalist.

He also creates the artwork for his albums himself (with his sister), and these are two of the characters he made. Today I want to introduce to you the Lollipop girl ("Lollipop" song) and dr John. Hope you like the nails ;)

Just plain orange. Used Catrice polish, which is one of my favourite right now.

Red

Used the cheap Essence polish and some glitter powder for the metallic shade ;)

Galaxy nails. Actually, just a desperate attempt.

Recently I hear a lot of people (mainly girls) say they 'love' cosmos, even though they know nothing about it. If I pull on some home made starry leggins will I be cool enough to be able to say I'm a cosmo-maniac? Will I be able to say, that I'm so original, I could call myself an alien? That would be so hipser, I'd love to be like that.... Actually, no. I wouldn't. Maybe that's why I failed to make nice galaxy nails for the 3rd time (tried to make them for my sister's request). Anyway. 

Today's bonus: another ugly design called The Wallpaper Nails (doesn't it look like a wallpaper?)  

Owl nails

These weren't designed by me, I found them on the Internet and really fell in love, so decided to make them on my nails. I changed the colours a bit, so that they were more suitable for winter (which is btw getting worse every day ;/ ) Oh, I need to change the layout of this blog, cause this one is terrible...

Pimp Yo Nails is going to get bigger and better, I promise ;)

Minnie Mouse nails

These are pretty popular and easy, they look cool when you wear a tee and nerd glasses, but also match a nice girly dress. And they take only about 20 mins to make, so ya, they're kinda awesome ;)

Cupcakes!

It's Grandma's Day today and, I couldn't come up with any present ideas, I decided to make some cupcakes for both of my grandmas ;) Making cupcakes = making cupcake nails. So here they are (nails, not cupcakes), not perfectly done, because I had to do them quite quickly, but I like them anyway :D

Harry Potter nails ?

Some of my friends posted this amazing video today, and it made me all teary and sentimental. I was raised by J.K.Rowling, in some way. I remember that my dad used to read the first two books to me before going to bed. Then, when I got older I could never wait for the next book to be released. I've read them all three times so far, and I'd do it again just now if I had more time.

So this kind of inspired me to do this: (i hate the Hedwig one, it's ugly ;/ )

Live for GLITTER

I generally don't like glitter nails, but since I bought this top coat I use it every time I have to get my nails done quickly. This time I painted also the bottom side of the tips, cause, you know.. I'm golden ;)

Nyan nyan!

I know this has already got old and boring, but my lil sister is still excited about the Nyan Cat, so I thought I could make her nyanyan nails ;)
(Sorry, the pic is crap ;/ She put on the blue base herself and it's a bit f*cked up, and the colors are quite dark..)

Shane Dawson's friends!!!

I am really impressed by this youtuber Shane Dawson. I've been watching him since he uploaded his first videos and for all this time I've been watching him growing up as a man and as an artist. He creates a lot of characters and I thought it would be awesome to paint their 'trademarks' on my nails. So here they come: Aunt Hilda, Ned the Nerd, Shane's Mom, Shanaynay and S. Deezy!

Blue gold&red

These one simply came to my mind when i was wearing plain gold camelon polish one day. And some ligt reflections made it look like blue, gold and red stripes. So I went home and made them :)
